Flourishing Fringes!
yes...there is quite a bit of fringing in this poncho...yesterday was a day of endings. I finished the poncho with a thick flourish of fringing and I finished the book I was reading ("How to be Both" by Ali Smith)too. Now I have a bit of a combined post-craft-project/post-good-book blues....
Oh dear, oh dear, I almost missed this one, even though I already commented on your finished piece. Yes, these intensive fringes are one of the best parts of this poncho, aside from the yard, the colour, the design, and the craftwomanship. Did I miss anything?

ReplyDeleteOh I will look out for that other Ali Smith Catherine and read it. "How to be Both" was brilliant. Upon finishing it I had to resist the urge to turn to the first page and simply read it again. Amazing language and amazing imagination.
