What month is it? Well it is February. But you would be forgiven for thinking it's frocktober all over again with this post.
I am making stuff. Making so much stuff.(I will show you all I promise) But for today, I thought I might give you all a squiz at this vintage tennis dress. I wore it to ladies tennis this morning....
What's wrong Julianne? You wouldn't be the first person to ask that in the last few days. It's the pouty scowl. You see,I have a big bad mouth ulcer that is preventing me from smiling...and obviously I smile a lot because there has been much concern expressed for my welfare.
And yes. I do actually wear runners to tennis. And here's what I wore after tennis... Thrifted seventies floral number with pintucked bodice and sleeves accessorised with yellow tights, pale blue platform shoes....
and yes, a pouty scowl. Or is that a scowly pout?
Its a Scoot Poot. (Old Gaelic)
ReplyDeletePerfect. I will be using that,
DeleteYou look gorgeous no matter what you wear - even with the mouth ulcer that makes you pout. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou are too kind Irene. It's lovely to have you back!
DeleteLove all! But you definitely win. Incredible tennis dress and I drool over your pastel platform shoes, especially with mustard tights.
ReplyDeleteAnd the shoes are comfy!
DeleteDearest, please have a blood test to check that the mouth ulcer isn't a symptom of something serious.
ReplyDeleteYes I will see the doctor if it doesn't clear up!
DeleteEven if it does clear up, if it is particularly large, or you get another, see a doctor for a blood test. I'm saying this because it was my symptom, and I've spent a lot of time with haematology patients who say they had the same thing.
