So! Now to the frock business.
Where else in the world could you wear a summer frock one day in blazing heat and sunshine and have to rug up the next as the temperature plummets to half what it was the day before? Ah...Melbourne. If you don't like the weather......... just wait a minute.......yeah, it's a special place to live.
This frock is a classic synthetic stretchy "sweat memory" free- and anyone out there who buys vintage clothes knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about - 70's does 40's frock in a pale sage green. Look at those tricky pleaty bits!
It matches my op shop green and apricot flower hat.
Well matches might be a stretch - matches to me! I've added orange net stocking and my new orange crocheted raffia handbag which I bought on frocktober day 9 in the op shop for $2. And as you can see...I'm pretty happy with the handbag...looks like my head might explode if my grin gets any bigger.
BIG thanks too to today's photographer...Little Joe.
Orange you lovely Julianne?!
ReplyDeleteAnd big congrats on your sensational fund raising efforts so far!
