Frocktober Day 19 MEXICAN GOODIES!

Would you like some Mexican festive decorations for your next party? Or for the up coming Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)? Or like me - just leave them up all the time.

I have some gorgeous colourful Mexican papel picado flags in large and cute mini flags plus 2 milagros badges - one for luck and one for being my hero. And keeping with the Mexican theme, today's frock is a traditional embroidered number from mexico which I bought on etsy. Of course I had to wear it with Frida-like flowers and my little papel picado ear-rings.

100% of the funds raised for this campaign go towards funding research into an early detection for ovarian cancer to save women’s lives. Our aim in 2014 is to beat last year’s funds raised of $328,000 to enable us in 2015 to fund our very own Frocktober Research Fellow and follow their progress as part of next year’s campaign.

Well - we still have 11 days to go! So far this frocktober has raised $118,138.74so we still have a way to go to beat last year. So come on - donate and get this Mexican pack of goodies! I leave my festive flags up all year round!

On the 12th day of Market, My true love gave to me.....

Lots of re-sew-cool bag-tag kits,

a swag of sweet by and by necklaces,

 a few painted nichos.

and a new sample felt fruit tree.

Phew! Sister outlaws will have all of these goodies at The Maribyrnong Maker's Market tomorrow!

It has to be said - I had too much fun making these nichos. Playing with colour, flowers pom poms, cacti, skulls and Fridas - what's not to like?!

Mexican Goodies at The Fitzroy Market

Tomorrow is market day for the sister outlaws! 
We will have a stall at the Fitzroy Market from 10 am - 2 pm

Along with our usual market goodies  like our winter woollies,

 

craft kits 

 

and hand made jewellery  

we will be selling a selection of colourful and unique hand made items from Mexico!

It's a great market with music, food, second hand clothes and best of all a lovely community feel. Come and say Hi if you are in the hood!
