Lens Flare and Vintage Crochet Dress - a match made in heaven!

I bought the crochet pattern here from etsy but I must admit to changing it slightly. I can't seem to ever follow instructions - be it a pattern or a recipe or anything else. A special defect I have. Yeah. Real special. Anyway I just changed the shell stitch slightly - other than that this was simple and fun to make. I used Heirloom %100 cotton 8 ply.
And yes - the pattern also has adult sizes for matching mother and daughter outfits! Oooh! What colour shall I make mine?

(Thanks Pepper for being such an inspired model.)

  1. Pepper is such a cutie (just like her Mum!) and she has modelled that gorgeous crochet dress with aplomb (I could do with a few tips and a bit of her confidence!) You've done an amazing job Julianne even if you did deviate from the instructions. As I mentioned when I saw the pattern, it is very similar to one I had when I was little - mine was bright pink like the little girl's in the pic (I prefer Pepper's lime)
What about orange for yours? I hope you make yourself one - I want to see a mother/daughter snap x

    1. I actually made the dress for Pepper's identical twin sister, Wanda, but Wanda HATES getting her photo taken - unlike Pep who works it! You know I don't have an orange dress so I think you're right - orange would be good!

    1. I'm getting a few orders! Might have to start making them. For some reason I can imagine it in silver!
