felt rope bowls
These bowls are made from the left over seams and/or felt jumper yarn/rope (I never know what to call the stuff!)
Crocheted on a large hook and spiralled around until I get the base size I want then straight up for the sides. When I'm finished I form the bowl by placing it over a similar sized bowl and steaming it with the iron.
There's a soft luminous quality to the felt which is so warm and fuzzy. They can be vacuumed if they get dusty and even thrown in the washing machine. Lovely for balls of wool, craft projects and baby toys.
And best of all - all of it is recycled!
