Lucy and Zoe Need Our Help!

This is Lucy Van Der Molen. Yes, she's just gorgeous! Those bouncy curls and could those brown eyes be any bigger? This sweet little two year old has just been diagnosed with the genetic disorder leukodystrophy. Her prognosis is bleak. The family also have a one month old baby Zoe, and, because the disease is genetic, she has also been tested for the disease. Tragically, Zoe has been diagnosed with leukodystrophy as well.

There's an ABC article about the family here. Because Zoe has been diagnosed so early in her life, a bone marrow transplant could really help her survival.

So. How can we help? Sisteroutlaws donated craft kits for an auction to help raise money for the family, who live in Tasmania. You can also find out how to make donation directly on  Lucys Holiday facebook page.

We can also help by becoming a bone marrow donors. It's not as hard as you might think!
Are you between 18 - 40 years old and eligible to give blood? Or do you know someone who is?
Then just donate blood at your local blood bank and sign up for the bone marrow register.  It will just take a bit more time to fill out the paperwork.

This family is facing such an unimaginable tragedy that is truly heartbreaking. Please help out if you can!
