Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream Really do come true.

Skies may be grey today but with rain comes the chance of a rainbow or two....
This little “somewhere over the rainbow” coin purse will go perfectly with ruby slippers!

It’s large enough to fit a tram ticket and a card and goes perfectly with Melbourne weather at the moment.  Ric rac rain, blue sky, white clouds and grey clouds and a rainbow.... you know what they say – “If you don’t like the weather in Melbourne.... just wait a minute....”

Like the other re-sew-cool products the kit  comes with illustrated instructions, a pattern, yarn, ric rac, and strong wool felt. All you need is a needle and cotton, some scissors and pins and you’re away. So click your heels and get stitching.

My little twinnies were pestering me the other day to make them a paper chain scarf. Trying to be frugal (always a good idea when having to make two of everything) I decided a mini “wee-sew-cool” scarf would better suit the littlies. So here is Pepper modelling the a toddler version paper chain scarf in rainbow hues. Now I’d better finish the other scarf!!

For somewhere over the rainbow inspiration who can go past Israel Kamakawiwo’ole gorgeous ukulele version?

And the original is spectacular too.

  4. Hi Michelle! I think for Tasmanian weather I would have to include some embroidered wind as well? Our friends in Cygnet have mentioned gale force winds lately!
